SYSTEMS/APPLICATION ENGINEER
Axcera, a leading supplier of television transmission equipment for the broadcast and mobile media industries worldwide, is seeking an experienced systems/application engineer based at its headquarters in Lawrence, PA (near Pittsburgh). The successful candidate will utilize their technical knowledge to assist customers and sales staff to develop complete, effective customized transmission systems, based on Axcera products and related equipment. In addition, the system/application engineer will work with the Axcera team to ensure that the systems are properly configured and tested through the manufacturing process.

The ideal candidate will possess at least a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or technology, have significant experience with RF transmission systems, and possess a solid understanding of analog and digital video technologies. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are required.

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER
BSEE/CE/CS or equiv, understanding of PC and embedded processor systems and OS's, Strong C/C++, VB, and GUI development on a PC with Linux or Windows. TCP/IP, networks, Java, LabView, Widgets, SNMP all preferred. Good PC hardware configuration skills and good software organizational skills highly desirable.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER
BSME or equiv, metalwork design and thermal analysis of electronic equipment, generally in standard racks are the main skills needed, air and water cooling systems a plus. Pro-E/AutoCAD familiarity preferred, but other systems acceptable. Must have experience in thermal modeling of electronic assemblies in kilowatt range, and mechanical packaging of same with air and water cooling.
